Exercise

Look into the /html_css folder of the Github Repository you just created. Open it using VS Code or any other editor of your choice.

Run this command to install necessary packages

npm install

Open the index.html. The question is added as a comment. Use your creativity make a beautiful website. Add as much CSS as you want.

A hot-reload server is included by default for you to see your changes live as you save

npm start

This serves your app on a localhost URL which you can visit and see your website.

tip

Feel free to checkout the html.test.js file to know exactly what sort of test-cases have been written and adapt your program to succeed.

Bonus stuff to try out

You can host your shiny new portfolio using Github Pages for free and share it with others. Do try it out if you want and send your link among peers and to us as well 😉

Submissions:

Please commit all the changes to a new branch called PRE-KDU-HTML-CSS and make sure you are inside the html_css folder while doing it. Follow appropriate naming for the commit messages i.e it should begin with PRE-KDU-HTML-CSS: Your_commit_message
